June Haul + Bug Tips

I'm trying to shop less after that big bag purchase and stick to basics. However, I've still been trying more sandals, dresses, and rompers in anticipation of our first trip out on a plane since 2020!





I continued the Open Edit sandal obsession by trying another Remmy Twist Sandal in gold and some lace-up flat sandals:

I love switching up the straps of bags to give it a new feel so picked up two cute striped options from Amazon - this is one of them on my new XS Hourglass bag:

I also think I finally found my denim jacket to keep with this one from Amazon - the sleeves are too long but look cute rolled up:

And my sweetest ex-assistant who went to work for Kate Spade gifted me a bag during a recent lunch, which is so cute! I also love how the straps are detachable so I can use my new straps with it too. :)

Easy Linen Tank Dress

I needed to meet minimum shipping to repurchase the windbreaker I got from Kohl's since it was 50% off but was too late for price adjustment so picked up some clearance tops:

Lastly, I tried some things that caught my eye from Old Navy but didn't work out in person:

Here are some handy bug tips now that summer is here:

1.   1. Goodbye Fruit Flies: To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass, fill it 1/2 full with Apple Cider Vinegar and mix in 2 drops of dish washing liquid. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!

2.   2. Get Rid of Ants: Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it 'home,' can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works, and you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

3.  3.  No More Mosquitoes: Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.

Hermes Toolbox 20 Review!

A long time ago, I used to covet the Hermes Birkin bag, as I'm sure many have since it's so elusive. Since then, I switched over to pine after the Hermes Kelly bag instead, after I saw it on Wendy Nguyen from Wendy's Lookbook here . She's a fellow petite and it just looked so nice on her! Over time though, and especially after baby A, I see how such a bag is definitely not practical for me and if I were to spend a small fortune on a bag, I'd want one that I would actually use more often. Canada Goose: Fusion Fit Reviews

I'm finally done with exhausting all the options of Canada Goose coats and have to say that the Fusion Fit is definitely made to perfectly fit petites. Out of the three that I tried on, the Rossclair , Shelburne , and Trillium , they all have the perfect sleeve length but the hoods are all still too big in proportion and cover my whole face when worn. The Canada Goose Rossclair Parka Fusion Fit definitely fits much better than the normal Rossclair as shown here . I still like this Military Green color the best along with Black and like these large buttons better than the small loop ones on the Kensington but still prefer the ease of snap buttons to these. March Haul + Target Dresses

Target has so many pretty dresses, which are perfect for the Spring weather we have now. It seems winter is finally over and pleasant weather is here. :) Left to right:  Sleeveless Scoop Neck Dress with Eyelet Trim ,  Strappy Side Button Top Midi Dress ,  Striped Strappy Side Button Top Midi Dress Left to right:  Striped Strappy High Neck Dress ,  Floral Print Off The Shoulder Dress ,  Sleeveless V-Neck Handkerchief Midi Dress ,  Floral Print Scoop Neck Strappy Button Front Tiered Midi Dress Out of all the ones I bought, I only decided to keep one but they were all really cute - I wish I had more space in my closet! The material of the two striped one and the black one are definitely wrinkle-prone as you can see in the photos but I liked the neutral stripes enough to keep it.
