I was still very much addicted to online shopping in November and couldn't help placing orders left and right but I only ended up keeping two things - a scarf that I've been wearing daily ever since and a shirt to wear for our Christmas family photo post-pregnancy.
I wish I took more bumpies throughout this pregnancy - here's just the 2nd one I ever took:
I did feel a little guilty that I hadn't been putting as much effort into recording my progress throughout this pregnancy but I had less time and energy since I wanted to spend as much quality time as I could with little A before baby B would change our family dynamic.
Speaking of little A, here's a recipe of Roasted Broccoli and Cauliflower Mac and Cheese that she couldn't get enough of, though she really only ate the pasta part, while I gladly ate her leftover veggies. :)
ROASTED BROCCOLI AND TOMATO MAC-AND-CHEESE |

Ingredients: |
1/2 head broccoli, cut into small florets |
1/2 small head cauliflower, cut into small florets |
1 pint cherry tomatoes |
Kosher salt |
|
black pepper |
6 oz pasta shells |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
2 cups low-fat milk |
4 oz. low-fat Cheddar, grated (about 1 cup) |
2 oc thinly sliced pepepr jack cheese |

1. Preaheat oven to 425 degrees. |
2. Toss the broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of the oil, and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper on a rimmed baking sheet. Roast, tossing once, until tender, 14-16 minutes. Remove from oven. |
3. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to pasta directions; drain. |
4. Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil in a medium pot over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, whisking for 30 seconds. Slowly whisk in the milk. Cook, stirring occassionally, until thickened, 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the Cheddar, vegetables, and pasta. |
5. Transfer mixture to a 2-quart baking dish. Top with the pepper jack cheese and broil until golden brown, 2-3 minutes. |

I also just wanted to share that my Burberry rain boots (old, similar here) have miraculously turned black (at least one always had white marks on it!) |

Meet my new snake plant, which I hear is great for clean air! :) |
Leaving you with the fortune of the day, "You will soon be the guest of a person you admire."
