November Haul + So Many Coats

Image
I’ve been doing a ton of holiday shopping after a long hiatus of not shopping much. Here is this month's haul of things - all coats, shoes, and a bag! My mom actually decided to clear out her closet, which was full of coats that she’s never worn before and I’m lucky enough that they all fit me and are so cute. Mackage Girls Coat size 12 Orolay Thickened Down Jacket size XXS Beige And these were all from my mom! Some of the coats my mom gave me are a little big in the shoulders and throughout but they are still cute as a little over-sized on :) I did write about finding the Canada Goose Victoria Fusion Fit , which fit me perfectly here , but I unfortunately still did not feel warm enough in it. My coworker recommended Mackge girls to me and when I tried her unisex version on, it didn't look good on me because it was too boxy but then I tried on a version of the popular adult one and I loved it! I don't know how warm it is yet b

October Haul + Amelia Island!

Image
This month's haul is all from shopping at the outlets on my trip to Amelia Island/Jacksonville/St. Augustine in Florida and Uniqlo, where I bought some shirts since I was buying some jackets for my mom. :) Here are some snaps from the trip: Trying on all the great-fitting blazers and long cardigans at Ann Taylor Outlet. I'm always tempted to buy it if it fits but in this case, I went with the 3rd one. I loved the last one too.  Not a good pic but I love the hat I found at Beall's! It can tighten on the inside :) I love her hair <3 Waving to the full moon photobomb Loves to  pull her sister's hair :D The hat again Leaving you with the quote of the day, "Develop an 'attitude of gratitude'. September Haul + AE Reviews

Image
September's haul are shoes from Toms and Nine West and a top from H&M. Over the summer, I ordered from American Eagle Outfitters and I’m impressed with how many cute dresses, rompers, and jumpsuits there are at AE that both fit me perfectly and are work appropriate. Also, note I have to sport a headband now because of all the baby hairs coming in after my hair fell out after the pregnancy. AE Striped Button Front Dress  in XXS, AE Square Neck Button Dress in XXS,  AE Tube Dress in XXS. Right: AE Striped Button Front Dress in XXS Left:  AE Striped Romper in XXS. Right:  AE Striped Tie Front Jumpsuit in XXS Middle: AE Button Front Halter Top in XXS (please excuse how wrinkled it is but I love this and am keeping it!). Right: AE Ruffle Bubble Top in XXS. I also love that I got this from A's daycare :) Leaving you with the quote of the day, "Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Wishing is not enough; we must do." -Johann Wol

August Haul + Toronto/Niagara Falls!

Image
August’s purchases were all from AE, Nordstrom, and from my Toronto/Niagara Falls trip .  I also decided to keep the Canada Goose Victoria Fusion Fit , which I reviewed in my last post. :) Canada Goose Victoria Fusion Fit in XXS The scarf and two headbands from Forever 21 was only $0.77! I love Daiso for their cheap hair accessories too. The Old Navy Strappy Glitter Jelly Sandals , which I plan to wear poolside were just $5.53 and the UGG Fonda Sandals were $37 at the Niagara outlets :) Here are a few snaps from my Toronto/Niagara Falls trip from August: I debated sooo long on this and it turned out to be $0.77 lol Leaving you with the quote of the day, "We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated." -Maya Angelou

July Haul + Canada Goose Victoria Fusion Fit Review

Image
In July, I picked up a pair of high-waisted bikini bottoms since I am in no shape to wear my regular bikinis this summer after baby #2 and also picked up two cute pairs of shorts that were on sale at H&M. Thanks to a comment from a reader here, I found out the Canada Goose Victoria now comes in Fusion Fit , which I'm excited about since I did like the Victoria best but it didn't come in Fusion Fit, which I wrote about here . I quickly ordered it and actually like it a lot! It's very slimming and fits well, though I wouldn't be able to wear any bulky sweaters underneath, which I am okay with. The sleeves are also a tad long but again, I am okay with that as well since it will keep my hands warm. The hood also isn't overwhelming like it was with many of the other ones I had tried on. I think I've found a keeper! I just hope it proves to be warm enough this coming winter. Canada Goose Victoria Fusion Fit in XXS Black Leaving you with the quote of the

June Haul + Tokyo/Bali/Hong Kong Trip!

Image
I didn't purchase anything the month of May and all I purchased in June was what I bought on vacation when I took my once-in-a-lifetime first class airfare to Tokyo, Japan and business class to Bali, Indonesia and Hong Kong. A and I left the kids behind (it was hard but we really needed it!) and had a quick trip to those three places. Below is what I purchased, which was all from Hong Kong, which is my favorite place to shop, except for the bags, which were from Bali. Both of these together only cost $15.36 since they were on sale :) This skirt from GU, which is a cheaper branch of Uniqlo, was on sale for $5.99 and this dress was on sale for $1.27! And here are some snaps from this trip :) Ramen in Tokyo! Visiting the Meiji Shrine So many temples in Bali! NBD.. just pumping on the beach :D Exploring Seminyak HK <3 Leaving you with the quote of the day, "It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you g
