July Haul + Canada Goose Victoria Fusion Fit Review

Image
In July, I picked up a pair of high-waisted bikini bottoms since I am in no shape to wear my regular bikinis this summer after baby #2 and also picked up two cute pairs of shorts that were on sale at H&M.

Thanks to a comment from a reader here, I found out the Canada Goose Victoria now comes in Fusion Fit, which I'm excited about since I did like the Victoria best but it didn't come in Fusion Fit, which I wrote about here. I quickly ordered it and actually like it a lot! It's very slimming and fits well, though I wouldn't be able to wear any bulky sweaters underneath, which I am okay with. The sleeves are also a tad long but again, I am okay with that as well since it will keep my hands warm. The hood also isn't overwhelming like it was with many of the other ones I had tried on. I think I've found a keeper! I just hope it proves to be warm enough this coming winter.

June Haul + Tokyo/Bali/Hong Kong Trip!

Image
I didn't purchase anything the month of May and all I purchased in June was what I bought on vacation when I took my once-in-a-lifetime first class airfare to Tokyo, Japan and business class to Bali, Indonesia and Hong Kong. A and I left the kids behind (it was hard but we really needed it!) and had a quick trip to those three places. Below is what I purchased, which was all from Hong Kong, which is my favorite place to shop, except for the bags, which were from Bali.

And here are some snaps from this trip :)

April Haul + Cartier Santos-Dumont Watch

Image
It's been very quiet here because of my return to work from maternity leave and trying to juggle work and a newborn baby along with a demanding toddler. Then there were the vacations, birthday parties, and baby showers to plan and attend so there will be four consecutive posts showing what I purchased these last few months.

All I purchased in April was a top and dress from Forever 21 since it was closing down and had an amazing clearance sale.

Though I didn't purchase anything in the month of May, I did pick out my 10 year work gift, which had to be a watch. I got the newly released Cartier Santos-Dumont Watch in small 19K pink gold and steel with black leather and though I'm not used to wearing a watch, I love it! :)

March Haul + Target Dresses

Image
Target has so many pretty dresses, which are perfect for the Spring weather we have now. It seems winter is finally over and pleasant weather is here. :)

Out of all the ones I bought, I only decided to keep one but they were all really cute - I wish I had more space in my closet! The material of the two striped one and the black one are definitely wrinkle-prone as you can see in the photos but I liked the neutral stripes enough to keep it.

February Haul + Burberry Puffer Coat Reviews

Image
February's haul is all from H&M. I mainly shopped the sale since I needed free shipping for a new laundry basket for the baby room.

Now that my pregnancy is over, I realize I am still missing a warm winter coat since the Canada Gooses didn't work out for me two years ago. I decided to try Burberry's down puffer coats since I own so many of their coats and jackets because they fit so well (with free sleeve alterations). I ordered the Burberry Limefield, Kington, and a trench style to try. While I was most attracted to the style of the Detachable Hood Down-filled Puffer Coat, after realizing the XXS was actually too tight for me, I was most hopeful about the Buberry Kington coat since it looked so comfy and warm.

The Burberry Limefield in XXS was actually very tight in the chest and shoulders so it had to go back but it's a nice, sleek puffer coat with a luxurious fur ruff around the detachable hood. The sleeves are a bit too long but it isn't noticeable with the…

January Haul + Baby B!

Image
I didn't purchase anything the month of December, which was also the month the baby B arrived :)

Here's the family photo I mentioned in the last post with our matching outfits but we actually didn't take this until the day after Christmas since baby B arrived on Christmas Eve (!)

I spent a lot of time shopping online for nursing tanks in January since I realized I would need some if I were to go out with baby B and I didn't need any with baby A since I started out bottle feeding first and don't think I need to breastfeed her in public. I ended up liking Target's tanks better over Old Navy's since they're softer and more comfy. I didn't get a chance to try H&M's since they're sold out but that must be a good sign. January's haul was just the two nursing tank and an Old Navy sweatshirt, which is my second one - I really like how comfy they are. :)

November Haul + Roasted Broccoli and Cauliflower Mac N Cheese

Image
I was still very much addicted to online shopping in November and couldn't help placing orders left and right but I only ended up keeping two things - a scarf that I've been wearing daily ever since and a shirt to wear for our Christmas family photo post-pregnancy.

I wish I took more bumpies throughout this pregnancy - here's just the 2nd one I ever took:

I did feel a little guilty that I hadn't been putting as much effort into recording my progress throughout this pregnancy but I had less time and energy since I wanted to spend as much quality time as I could with little A before baby B would change our family dynamic.

Speaking of little A, here's a recipe of Roasted Broccoli and Cauliflower Mac and Cheese that she couldn't get enough of, though she really only ate the pasta part, while I gladly ate her leftover veggies. :)
