September Haul + Spanish Rice

Image
I actually didn't purchase anything for myself the month of August for the first time ever, not only because it has been super busy being a mother but because I've only been shopping for the baby. This is what I shop for now: But I did shop in September and ended up keeping a pair of grey distressed jeans from Express and 3 pairs of workout pants from Under Armour because it's time to get back into shape. After attending a Pilates class, which used to be easy for me, I realize how out of shape I am from not working out during the past 2 months so I definitely have my work cut out for me. Here's an easy recipe for easy Spanish rice, though I have no idea when I'll ever have time to cook again: SPANISH RICE Total Time: 20 minutes Ingredients: 1 lb. lean ground beef (90% lean) 1 large onion, chopped 1 medium green pepper, chopped 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce 1 can (14.5 oz.) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, drained 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoo

Dress: Aeropostale (mentioned here ). Jacket: from HK but similar here . Bag: Chanel Boy WOC (similar here ). Shoes: Enzo Angiolini (old but similar here ).  There's so much that I wish I knew b

Baby A came a month early! :) giant swaddle :) Baby A in her 1 month OOTD! Me trying to look put together even though I'm exhausted in this Aeropostale dress mentioned here with a squirming Baby A. :) Luckily, I was pretty prepared and will share tips soon. I had no idea my water had broke and I would have Baby A that very night so I was making these Whole Wheat Nutty Waffles, which were delicious and I'm so sad I was only able to eat only one before heading to my doctor's appointment, where I found out my water actually did break. I think it'll be a birthday breakfast tradition for her. Here's the recipe! NUTTY WHOLE WHEAT WAFFLES  Ingredients: 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups reduced-fat milk 6 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 large eggs 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans, walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts Directions: 1.
