Knowing this year will be very cold and how my
North Face 'Alana Boots' from three years ago didn't quite hold up in cold temperatures, I decided to try Sorel's boots.
I headed to the store thinking I would purchase the
Tivoli II Boots in Quarry but was very surprised to realize I liked the
Tivoli High II Boots in Curry much more on me, which is also good because the extra height adds a lot of warmth. :)
I was very surprised because I thought the shorter one would look better but in actuality, the taller version helps to elongate my legs more.
I got to test it out over the past few days when it started to snow and they're definitely super warm and will protect against the elements so I am extremely happy with this purchase, which was cataloged
here. I definitely recommend Sorel boots for cold temps and love that they're also waterproof too. It's a big plus too that their sizing for certain styles like this one runs small because the size 5, which is my usual size, fits very snugly and is the size I went with.
A has been eating very healthfully lately because he's in a weight loss competition and though I strongly dislike salads, here is a good homemade recipe for quick and easy salad dressing:

Do you find that the high ones are more flattering? I have short and stubby legs unfortunately, and am wondering which pair I should get. Lovely review btw!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, the higher ones are for sure more flattering, which is why I got them since I have stubby legs too and they're also warmer! :)
