OOTD + Spinach Mushroom Scramble

Image
A and I haven't gone out in a while so it was nice to go out to a movie the other night with our friends. For the occasion, I wore my new dress from last month's haul, mentioned here. :)

I've been cooking a lot again recently and have been trying out new recipes once again and am a big fan of this Spinach Mushroom Scramble I made for breakfast the other day:

SPINACH MUSHROOM SCRAMBLED EGGS
Ingredients:2 eggs2 egg whites1/8 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper1 teaspoon butter1/2 cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms1/2 cup fresh baby spinach, chopped2 tablespoons shredded provolone cheese
Directions:1. In a small bowl, whisk eggs, egg whites, salt and pepper until blended. In a small nonstick skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms; cook and stir 3-4 minutes until spinach is wilted. Reduce heat to medium. 2. Add egg mixture; cook and stir just until eggs are thickened and no liquid egg remains. Stir in cheese.

May Haul + Top Cash!

Image
I can't believe it's June already! Time is passing by so quickly; summer is coming up fast! Here's this month's haul, and from now on, it's just going to get smaller and smaller. For real this time.

Speaking of saving, I posted about Ebates.comhere and how beneficial it is to get cash back when shopping online, which I do all the time now but I recently just found out about Topcashback.com, which often times has double the percentage of cash back that you would get from Ebates.com so make sure to sign up for Top Cashback here as well and check both for the highest savings every time you shop! :)

Sheinside Review + Spring Shoe Game

Image
I mentioned in this post that I finally decided to order from Sheinside to see how their fit and quality is since I've seen bloggers purchase their items. What finally got me to do it is their Grey Long Sleeve Single Button Tweed Coat, which surprisingly fits very snugly and needs no alterations as you can see below.

I actually ordered a whole ton of stuff but only ended up keeping two pairs of shorts and a scarf blanket.

Now that it's finally warm out in NYC (yay!), I definitely feel I need to up my Spring/Summer Shoe game because I haven't bought new sandals in a long time so I've been purchasing shoes left and right to find the right ones. So far, I've only picked up a few pairs and have yet to find a solid staple pair to replace my beloved flat black sandals with gold chain.

I've been coveting these J.Crew Malta Sandals for a while and finally decided to try them out but I disappointingly did not like them and returned them.
