The Jersey Shore + Outlet Shopping!

Image
I love long weekends! My family and I spent Memorial Day Weekend at the Jersey Shore, where we had a lovely time shopping at the outlets, laying on the beach, and walking along the boardwalks. :) Here are some fitting room snaps of most of the stores I popped into at Jersey Shore Premium Outlets: Left to right: Lace Fit & Flare Dress , Floral A-Line Dress , Textured Geometric Slip Dress , Luxe Lace Dress , Textured Tribal Skirt , Taco Shirt I don't normally shop at Aeropostale but decided to pop in since it was there and I happily found many cute dresses. I might wear the Lace Fit & Flare Dress to my bridal shower. :) They're having a 50% off everything promotion now, which is very close to the outlet's prices!  Next up is Ann Taylor , where I surprisingly found many cute pieces, while at LOFT, I found less. I have always gravitated towards LOFT more than Ann Taylor but maybe times are changing since I'm nearing the big 3-0. At Banana Republic

Paige Denim Jeans + Catching Up

As mentioned in the last post, I've recently ordered from Paige denim jeans to try them out and I absolutely love the fabric, fit, and quality. They are amazing!! I first tried their Edgemont jeans, but the zippers really aren't for me so I decided to try the Verdugo Crop , since they seemed similar but without the zippers and an even shorter 26" inseam. When I put them on, I was shocked that I didn't need any alterations (sz 23) and immediately tried to get them in more colors. I'm obsessed and will never buy jeans that require alterations again (or so I say now). Love! I also want to mention that size 23 is hard to find and I love that Nordstrom carries this size, just like they carry smaller-sized shoes. :) Top: Splendid Cowl Neck Top . Bottom: Paige Denim Verdugo Crop in Midlake at left and Black at right. And since it's been so crazy busy the past few weeks, here's a few snaps of what's been going on: Weekend flowers :) The view f

April Haul Part II + Hong Kong

A week after I came back from Paris, I was off to China for a work trip and since I came back, it has been a whirlwind of nonstop things to do until I finally had a weekend to myself this Saturday. It's so true that everyone is so much busier now that we're all in our late 20s. I can just imagine how much more busier it will even become once we all start having kids within the next 5 years. Anyway, I posted the previous post without realizing I would actually purchase more in the month of April, but purchase I did. Even though I only had a day and a half in Hong Kong to myself during my trip to China for 8 days and also had my hair and makeup trial done within that time, I managed to buy a ton of stuff in 2-3 hours, which shocked my dear friend and said makeup artist/hair stylist ("You bought 6 pairs of shoes in 2 hours?!"...-Yes, I shamefully admitted, I did - although I do have to say they were super affordable in my defense - such as a pair of booties from Monki, b

April Haul - Paris Part II + H&M

On my second trip to Paris, I picked up a few more things as mentioned here . :) I ended up going with the Celine Micro Luggage instead of the Nano Luggage , though it's so cute, because I had already picked up the Louis Vuitton Alma BB in Black Epi and really didn't need yet another cross-body bag. I initially wasn't interested in the Micro Luggage bag at all since you can't carry it on your shoulder, which I feel is inconvenient, but after trying it on at the insistence of my friend, I decided to go for it, especially since the price was so good and I love the Indigo color. While in Paris, we also stopped into a Ferragamo store, where I purchased my first pair of their leather Ballet Flats in Varina Denim Print . I never purchased their patent leather/leather flats because they weren't very comfortable on me, but this pair in denim is super comfortable since it's made of suede with a leather lining. I think my favorite item of this Paris Part II Haul i
