August Haul + Tuna Cheese Melt

As promised, here's my August Haul - the Ann Taylor Petite Faux Leather Trim Trench Jacket that I just posted about, a gold ring that I absolutely love, and a cute bikini top and bottom from Victoria's Secret.

It's hard to see the ring there so here's a close-up to it. I found it from Shoppe on Scoutmob.com and find myself grabbing it almost everyday to wear but I like to wear it backwards because it's more comfy that way for me. :)

*EDIT: Here's one more thing I purchased that I forgot to include in this original post since I got it in Seattle while on my Alaska cruise. :)

The cost of home renovations and wedding planning is really hitting me hard now so I'm really trying to stay away from shopping but find myself unable to help myself when I'm at the mall (mattress shopping) and also when I see key pieces that I just have to at least order and try on when browsing through other blogs. I hope to post more hauls and reviews soon but the completion of the house has just been pushed back yet again so really hoping it's for real this time that I can move back in next month to resume my normal blogging.

I also can't wait to move in to my home to start cooking again, which will be helpful with cost savings too. Here's a healthy recipe for tuna cheese melts that I've made before for A when he was working on his shed:

TUNA CHEESE MELT RECIPE

Ingedients:
1 5 oz can tuna
2 tbsp oats
1 egg white
1/4 cup diced onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1/3 oz part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash garlic & herb
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
1. Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix, or mash ingredients together, and form into a hefty patty.
2. Place patty into a frying pan (sprayed with cooking spray), and cook over medium heat until slightly brown on both sides.
3. Top with a little mozzarella cheese while patty is hot!
