Major Cleaning (Tip #1) + Slim Guacamole

It has been super hectic for me these past two months, both at work and at home. After returning from my business trip, I not only gained a ton of weight as mentioned here , but my assistant left the company a week later. Now that work is finally settling down and is more manageable, I'm about to start renovations on my home, which is a lot more work than I imagined. It's crazy how much stuff can accumulate in a house over the years and there's unfortunately no time now to sort through everything to try to sell or salvage. While going through my closet and shoes, I have to toss and donate as I go, which is a good thing because I didn't do any Spring cleaning this year and really should be done once a year to accommodate the space you'll need from what you add to your wardrobe. Starting to pack up my bulging closet... can't wait for my new walk-in :) As I go, I'll try to impart some helpful tips. I've struggled with figuring out what to do with my o

And another month is up! Time seriously flies as you get older. Here's a snapshot of last month's purchases, which should be my most expensive month ever and won't happen again:     I've been making a different smoothie everyday for A and I to bring to work for breakfast lately. He's moving on from his usual PB&J and wants to eat more healthfully so has requested smoothies now instead. Combine the sorbet, grape juice, tofu, and lime juice in a blender. 2. Add the peachs and pineapple. 3. Blend

Like with florals, I've been wanting pieces with tribal/ikat designs on it for a while now and picked some up when I finally went brick-and-mortar shopping at Forever 21. First up is this skirt. Top: Forever 21 V-Neck Tank . Skirt: Forever 21 (similar here ) Next up is this dress, which was too boxy and flowy so I added a belt. The lightweight fabric is perfect for the toasty temperatures that we've been having now during the daytime. :) Dress: Forever 21 (similar here ). Bag: Chanel WOC . I also couldn't resist picking up this little guy, which is a mint lip balm. I plan to use it as a jewelry holder for traveling once it's all used up. :) It's been a while since I've shared a recipe so here's one for Light Coconut Cupcakes, which are perfect for those days you're craving something sweet but don't want to feel guilty afterwards. :) LIGHT COCONUT CUPCAKES Ingredients: For cake 1 box moist vanilla cake mix ¾ cup + 2 Tbsp no
