Happy Lunar New Year! - New from Nordstrom + Breakfast Nachos

As a result of shopping for birthday and Valentine's Day presents for A on Nordstrom.com, I of course also browsed the sales for myself before finalizing my purchase. Surprisingly, I actually liked and kept everything that I purchased, while I tend to normally return most if not all things I order online. The three things I purchased are the LAmade Crisscross Back Sweater, Project Social T 'Varsity' Sweatshirt (Junior's), and Nordstrom 'Python Plaid' Scarf.

Left to right: front of the LAmade Crisscross Back Sweater, back of the LAmade Crisscross Back Sweater, Project Social T 'Varisty' Sweatshirt, Nordstrom 'Python Plaid' Scarf.
The LAmade Crisscross Back Sweater is a bit big on me but I like it even though I tend to prefer fitted tops because it feels comfy and I don't own any loose sweaters. The unique crisscross detailing in the back is nice and there's also a nice pattern running down the sleeves as well, which you can't quite see in the photos. I purchased the Project Social T 'Varsity' Sweatshirt just for fun, since I thought it would humor A. He actually does like it and it's super comfy enough that the too long sleeves don't bother me. I had planned to only wear it at home over my pajamas but I actually did wear it out over the weekend underneath my furry vest, which kept me nice and warm. I'm not sure why, but I've been having a scarf fixation lately. I purchased four scarves over the last month, but this Nordstrom 'Python Plaid' Scarf is actually the only one I decided to keep. I like that it's very lightweight yet keeps me quite warm. The black python pattern is very subtle and I like how the contrast border breaks up the black and is also subtly sparkly with a bit of lurex.

Over the weekend, I made Nachos Breakfast in a Mug since I have a bag of Tostitos Fajitas Scoops that's still sitting around and they turned out very well! I plan to make it again this coming weekend because it's so quick and delicious but I might try to use a whole egg instead to avoid wasting the yolk since I ran out of egg whites:

BRIETTA'S BREAKFAST NACHOS IN A MUG RECIPE
