Catskills + Woodbury Commons Haul

Last weekend, I went on a mini getaway to an inn in the Catskills.
The beautiful Lake Joseph and roasting marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit :)

On the way there (and also on the way back), my boyfriend A and I stopped by the outlet mall Woodbury Commons. I picked  things up from A/X, Loft, Banana Republic, Gap, and Ann Taylor, which are all petite-friendly brands. The first thing I picked up is an A/X lightweight jacket, which I love. It's a mixture of girly and tough because it's moto style but with peplum on the bottom and is made of a soft, thin material that has a shiny texture to it. A/X doesn't make clothes especially for petites so I'll have to get the sleeves shortened as you can see in the below photo (I clipped the desired length with a binder clip on my right arm).
Size XS
Next stop was LOFT, where I picked up two sweaters for the coming winter, which I hear is going to be especially cold. :(
Size XXSP
Speaking of which, there's a promotion going on to save 40% off your purchase at LOFT.com and $15 off every $75 you spend at any LOFT Outlet:

Next up was Banana Republic and Gap where I picked up two button-downs:

A Cream colored Polyester button-down from Banana Republic in size XXSP, which is something I've been looking for and a boyfriend fit contrast trim button-down from the Clearance section in Gap in size XS
Last but not least is this comfy sweater and dress from Ann Taylor:
I like that the sweater (in size XXSP) can be dressed up or down. This dress (also XXSP) is made of a very stretchy material with figure-flattering draping but I have it folded up here almost a foot. I'll repost with photos after the alterations - I think I want to wear this to my company Holiday party. :)

Leaving you with the fortune cookie quote: "No man is a failure who is enjoying life."
