Airport Style + Miami!

Since I travel at least once a year overseas for work and have been trying to use my vacation days to go to as many places as possible out of the long list of places I want to go, I find myself in airports quite often. My airport uniform is always a variation of the following key pieces: comfortable footwear (flats in the fall/winter and flip-flops in the spring/summer), leggings, a scarf, and a warm yet light layering cardigan/jacket in case it gets cold on the flight. With these pieces, it's easy to look put together yet feel comfortable even if it's a 15+ hour flight, which I have to endure at least once a year. Below, I'm wearing leggings with a tunic length top, scarf, and faux leather jacket.

Jacket: Top Shop Petites, Top: Free People, Leggings: Victoria's Secret, Flats: Kenneth Cole Reaction 'Slip On By', Bag: Gap
Ever since Danny, a good friend of ours, moved down to Miami for work, my friends and I have luckily been visiting him at least once a year. We're so familiar with his neighborhood now, it feels like our vacation home. :)
Once in Miami, I shed the leggings, scarf, and jacket:

Sunglasses: Chanel, Top: Free People, Shorts: Earnest Sewn, Shoes: Baby Pure (from Japan)

Leaving you with the fortune cookie quote: "Ambition knows no obstacles."
